MX3D, a pioneer in robotic metal additive manufacturing, is hiring a Quality Manager for our Amsterdam facility. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects while leading the implementation various industry standards to 3D printing with a welding Robot, i.e. WAAM or DED process. The ideal candidate will possess welding expertise, Welding Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) experience, an International Welding Certificate, and a proven track record in applying, obtaining and maintaining standards/accreditations for additive manufacturing, particularly in the oil and gas and nuclear industries.
–Responsibilities
⦁ Lead the development and implementation of quality control processes aligned with relevant standards
⦁ Drive continuous improvement in WAAM processes and product quality
⦁ Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to implement and maintain standards
⦁ Prepare for and support audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance
⦁ Provide guidance and training on quality management systems
⦁ Manage documentation and records related to quality assurance
–Requirements
⦁ Experience in welding and additive manufacturing, preferably with a focus on WAAM techniques
⦁ Proficiency in interpreting and implementing standards, preferably in the context of welding and WAAM
⦁ Familiarity with other relevant norms applicable to welding and WAAM, is preferred
⦁ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
⦁ Preferably in possession of an International Welding Certificate (IWE/IWT) or equivalent certification
⦁ Knowledge of quality requirements specific to the oil and gas and nuclear industries is highly desirable
