Job Title: Junior Technician (3D Printing / SLS Equipment)
Location: Voorschoten/Wassenaar, with travel throughout Europe and potential international travel

Role Overview:
As a Junior Technician, you’ll be working hands-on with EOS SLS machines both at our test center and on-site at customer locations across Europe. This is an ideal role for a technician with 1-3 years of technical experience looking to develop their skills in the 3D printing industry. You’ll be involved in machine installations, customer training, calibrations, and service and repair tasks.
For those with more experience, we also welcome applications for a Senior Technician role, which ideally requires 5+ years in a relevant field, such as laser 3D printing or laser cutting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup: Assemble and install EOS SLS equipment at customer sites.
- Training: Provide initial training to customers, ensuring they understand how to operate and maintain their equipment.
- Calibration & Quality Control: Calibrate machines for optimal performance and conduct quality checks to meet industry standards.
- Service & Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on EOS machines, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
- Repairs & Upgrades: Diagnose and repair technical issues, and assist with machine upgrades.
- Customer Support: Act as a first line of support for troubleshooting, both remotely and in-person, when required.
- In-House Preparation: Conduct maintenance and testing of stock machines at our test center, preparing them for sale and delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanics, electronics, or mechatronics; familiarity with 3D printing or SLS technology is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues systematically and suggest effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Capable of clearly explaining technical concepts to customers.
- Willingness to Travel: Primarily within Europe, with occasional opportunities for travel outside of Europe if interested.
- Language Skills: English proficiency is required; additional European language skills are a plus.
- Education: Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
For Senior Technician Applicants:
5+ years of experience in a relevant field (preferably laser 3D printing or laser cutting), with proven expertise in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
